Careers Convention 2008 |

The annual Carrick Schools Careers Convention was held here in the College this year. Over 35 employers, training organisations and further education instititions crammed into the assembly hall and stage to facilitate questions from 6th formers and year 12's from the 4 main schools in Carrick.
It was very well attended by employers and pupils alike with job prospects ranging from hair and beauty to the Royal Navy. The new training schemes at the Further Education Collages proved very popular, with many of our pupils taking the opportunity to find out how to apply for their chosen career.
Credit must go to Miss Irwin who organised this very successful event and we hope it was helpful for all those who attended.
