College Pupils in 'Britain's Got Talent'

Adam McMeekin and Aaron Kavanagh are year 11 pupils at Carrickfergus College.  In March 2008 the boys entered a talent show in the College as “The Blues Brothers” and were delighted to be placed in the final.  Following a tight competition they were placed as runners up.

 “The Blues Brothers” were entertainment at its best and decided to pursue this in their summer holidays. Throughout the summer the boys gave of their time to perform as “The Blues Brothers” in the local community, visiting nursing homes and other residential venues.  They extended their performance to an hour long show and continued to enjoy performing. 

The national competition beckons as the boys have already applied to be auditioned for “Britains Got Talent”.  They are to perform in London in early October and we wish them all the very best.
