Disneyland Paris TripJanuary 2009 |
On a damp and murky Monday morning 40 pupils and 4 members of staff embarked on another memorable trip to the most famous themed park in Paris. It proved to be a wonderful trip full of laughs, cheers, screams and the odd tear. The all-you-can-eat buffet attracted the attention of Mr Sloan and Mr Scullion especially as we enjoyed the hospitality of the Cheyenne Hotel. Pupils enjoyed two full days in the park and took repeated trips to the famed “Tower of Terror” and “Rock’n’Rollercoaster”.
A highlight was certainly a go on the Tower of Terror which included 16 pupils and 2 members of staff – the photographic evidence said it all. Mr Sloan’s screams WERE real and the pupils’ reactions were a mix of fear and disbelief. A great time was had by all and a special thanks must go to Miss Irwin who organised the trip. For those in third year, they can take memories of a wonderful holiday; for those in first and second year, see you again next January...
