Year 9 | Enterprise Day

On Tuesday 23rd September 9AS & 9AF took part in an enterprise programme entitled “Your School Your Business”.  This was the first time that the programme had been delivered in Northern Ireland by Young Enterprise.  The day is designed to inspire creative fun through enterprise challenges! Business volunteers challenge students to develop capabilities for entrepreneurship which will give the students the chance to open their eyes to the opportunities that learning and education can offer in terms of their future life, career prospects, aspiration and dreams.

The pupils set out their interests, goals and plans for their future which was developed throughout the day.  They played games, quizzes, solved a social problem in the school and gave presentation to the group.  The challenge was to identify and develop attitudes and capabilities for entrepreneurship.  All pupils worked very hard and came up with some excellent ideas. 

An enjoyable day was had by all.
