RAF Enterprise day
November 2009
Year 10 pupils took part in a RAF Enterprise Day organised by the Maths Department on Wednesday 18th November. The pupils took part in various activities working in teams.
Each team designed and built a self propelled car made from everyday materials including balloons, elastic bands, card and straws. They tested out their car by competing with each other to see which car travelled the farthest.
They also got the opportunity to test who was the fittest person in their team by taking part in different physical activities and recording their pulse rate.
