College pupils take part in International Assessment
OCED Programme for International Student Assessment PISA took place in Carrickfergus College last week. PISA is the world's biggest international education survey involving over 60 countries worldwide. It is run in the UK by NFER the National Foundation for Educational Research.
The results of this survey are used to compare education in our country with that of the other countries in the survey and results from studies like these can go on to influence government policy. 25 students from the College took part in the assessment and received a certificate to acknowledge their participation.
