Visit to Ryobi
March 2010
The year 14 Business Studies class visited Ryobi factory yesterday as part of their Quality Management coursework. The aim of the visit was to learn about the quality standards that Ryobi adhere to and how their products are manufactured. The pupils were given a presentation by the Quality Manager Chris McCullough and then given a tour of the factory, were they learned how the aluminium supplied was used in manufacturing for: Transmission Cases, Clutch Cases and Main Control Valve Bodies. The pupils also learned who Ryobi supply to, including Honda, Jaguar, Suzuki and Yamaha.
