Operation Christmas Child

This term pupils from all year groups, staff and parents took part in our annual shoebox appeal for the Samaritan's purse. We filled boxes with soap, toothbrushes, toys, pencils, stickers and many other things to send to children who will not receive presents this year. These boxes will be sent to children in countries in Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe. Last year over 1.2 million boxes were sent out from the UK and this year Carrickfergus College joined in and sent 66 boxes. This is a way in which we have contributed to the world we live in and make a difference in people's lives on the other side of the world.
