Carrickfergus Learning Community 
Carrickfergus College is currently involved in a new curricular scheme called the Carrickfergus Learning Community (CLC), along with Carrickfergus Grammar School, Downshire, and Ulidia Integrated College to provide a wider range of options to Carrickfergus' A level students. Pupils from Carrickfergus Collge will be able to study these subjects at the corresponding school.This initative is popular and is an appealing choice for those who wish to remain at Carrickfergus College yet want to study another subject which the school doesn't cater for.

Students wishing to access the above mentioned courses must:-
- Have met the school criteria for returning to their own school to complete sixth form studies.
