Business & Communication Systems students have the opportunity to “learn by doing” in this hands-on course. This approach promotes enjoyment, motivation, high pupil achievement and develops their transferable skills which are important in working life.
This course gives the students the opportunity to gain business knowledge, understanding and at the same time develop their Business ICT skills. It helps students understand the changing role of ICT in business and economic activities. It also helps students understand the ways in which market environments are changing because of ICT, for example the rise of e-business.
The student centred approach to learning allows the students the opportunity to apply their developing knowledge in relevant, interesting and work-related contexts. They undertake research, meet deadlines, work with others and have the opportunity to be enterprising and creative.
