Business Studies students have the opportunity to explore all aspects of business behaviour and how it is put into practice. The practical aspect of the subject allows a variety of teaching and learning strategies such as case studies, role plays and simulations to be used. During the course pupils will also have the opportunity to visit local businesses.
The subject gives the students the opportunity to develop their ICT skills in a business context. Alongside this the students are taught how to become effective citizens, producers and consumers so that they can integrate effectively into society.
This course promotes knowledge and appreciation of the business world and helps students apply business concepts within the context of business activities.
