All Pupils in Year 8 have the chance to study either French or Spanish
During this time they will learn about the country and how to talk about themselves, family and friends, pasttimes, school etc. They will learn learn phrases to help them order food, ask for directions, buy a train ticket etc.
At the end of Years 8-10, pupils have the opportunity to do the GOML (Graded Objectives in Modern Languages) and if successful, they receive a certificate
