This course builds on the skills already developed at Key Stage 3 of Speaking, Listeening and Reading and Writing, each of which is weighted at 25%
The coursework option we choose (3 pieces of writing – 600 words in total) means writing is not tested in the final exam.
For the other three skills, pupils may be entered at Foundation or Higher level, to suit all levels of ability.
